New Travel Game

One of our dear English friends taught us a new travel game the other day, and we're having a blast with it! It works only in the UK, I'm afraid, so my American friends will only be able to play when they come visit us. (How's that for a positive spin?)

Here's what you do. Watch for Eddie Stobart lorries and record the name of each of them. Simples! Each Eddie Stobart lorry has a female name. It's painted on the driver's door (always) and on the front of the lorry (most of the time). For safety's sake your car's driver should be very careful whilst playing this game!

We just returned home from a holiday in the Lake District, and we gathered about 25 names during our trip. Here are some of the lorries we saw. (Click on the photos to get a closer look.)

We're completely hooked! Nobody napped on the way home because we were all watching for Eddie Stobart lorries. I didn't even read much of my book because I was trying to grab photos of them. Fun, fun!

Are YOU an Eddie Stobart spotter? Leave a comment and let me know!

  2. We saw two on the way to the base yesterday. Cool stuff! I saw the Clairy Dee on the way home from York a couple of weeks ago, saw her again in Brandon a few days later, and then saw her AGAIN later on!
