This is my grandpuppy, Liam, and my daughter, C. C is away visiting friends, so I'm on puppy duty right now. I just took Liam out for his morning walk. For once we got out there early in an attempt to beat the heat. We passed lots of kids who were awaiting their school bus, and one young boy asked if he could say hello to Liam. Now Liam is still learning his manners, but he's usually pretty good with kids, so I agreed.
Liam sat right down and allowed the boy to rub his ears for a minute. Liam then proceeded to lie down and be really sweet whilst the boy petted him.
The boy then turned around and yelled to his mom, "This is a boy. He's a good dog! He can sit. He can lay down. He can do ANYTHING!"
What a nice way to start my day!
